Sasha Graham’s Tarot Diva Card of the Week – The Six of Pentacles

Be Witching!

Tarot applies to anyone, anywhere. This in mind, Sasha Graham, Tarot Diva selects your personal card of the week . . .

Your card of the week for October 26th, 2010:

The Six of Pentacles (Pumpkins)

I’ve pulled out my Halloween by Kippling West deck to select your card of the week . . .

Your Lovestyle – Ever hear the expression “You’ve got to give to get?” The Six of Pentacles is about the exchange of material goods be it money, presents or just yourself. Kippling West’s Six of Pumpkins depicts the literal exchange of treats on Halloween night. The Six of Pentacles reminds us that if we want to receive love, we’d better give it. Do you want more love in your life? Watch “Practical Magic,”get yourself in the spirit, consider the moon, cast a spell, write a letter like Sally does below and put your desire out there . . .

Your Lifestyle – The Six of Pentacles suggests spending money. Halloween is your chance to act out, be outrageous and indulge your fantasies. Purchase or create a fabulous costume and take a cue from my six year old . . . keep it out and wear it whenever you feel like it. Cook dinner as the sexy pirate, entertain guests as Lady Gaga, vacuum your house in a vampire outfit and laugh your ass off while doing it!

Your Moneystyle – Want to be a millionaire? Who doesn’t? If you want to be a millionairre, start acting like one. Most millionairres donate a portion of their income to charity. Giving to charity is one precise meaning of the Six of Pentacles. Pick an amount you can afford, doesn’t matter how small and donate to a charity. Even five bucks! Can’t decide on a cause? Here are two of my favorites:

Gems – Organization who serves girls and young women who have experienced commercial sexual exploitation.

Gasland – Documentary film and organization dedicated to the educating communities to the perils of natural gas drilling.

Have a question? Ask the Tarot Diva . . .

Dear Tarot Diva,

I found out my boyfriend is really a woman. But I still think he’s cute. Should I switch to becoming a male? I really think I love him. I mean her.

Transitionally yours,

Donna Tyler, Fairfield, Ct.

Dear Donna,

The answer to your question is The World card.

The World is the final card of the Major Arcana and represents complete integration. In fact, many view the world dancer as hemaphrodite, integrating both male and female aspects of yourself. Should you switch to becoming a male? Do you want to become male? If the answer is yes, go for it!

Forever yours,

The Tarot Diva, NYC 🙂
